RIYADH, 7 January — The Passports Department is geared up to receive the huge influx of pilgrims at all the land, air, and sea entry points with state-of-the-art computers and more qualified personnel, according to Director General of Passport Department Maj. Gen. Abdul Aziz Al-Sajini. He added that the main functions of his personnel in dealing with pilgrims are checking their documents at the time of arrival, verifying the pilgrimage permits before they enter the holy sites, and helping to finalize their departure.
