RIYADH, 8 January — The Ministry of Interior has warned citizens and expatriate residents about an African racket that attempts to deceive people with promises of multiplying their money. The warning came in a statement issued by the ministry after a complaint from a Saudi who said two Africans swindled $30,000 out of him. The Africans offered to manufacture $30 million by magic powers if he had given them an advance of $30,000. The Saudi later discovered that the notes returned to him were forged. (SPA)
