RIYADH, 10 January — Chief of Intelligence Prince Nawaf ibn Abdul Aziz yesterday discussed issues of common concern with visiting US Sen. John D. Rockefeller, the Saudi Press Agency reported. The two men reviewed developments on the world scene, SPA said. Rockefeller met with Crown Prince Abdullah, deputy premier and commander of the National Guard on Tuesday, shortly after arriving from Syria on a three-day visit to the Kingdom. He is also expected to hold talks with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd and Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal, according to the US Embassy in Riyadh. The Democrat senator from West Virginia is a member of the US Senate committees on intelligence, commerce, science and technology, finance as well as foreign relations in the Near East and Asia.
