RIYADH, 13 January — Dr. Fareed ibn Muhammad ibn Hussein Zaidan, a professor at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran, has been appointed governor of the Electricity Authority, the Royal Court announced yesterday. It said Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd issued a decree appointing Zaidan to the new post on the recommendation of Crown Prince Abdullah, deputy premier and commander of the National Guard.
