JEDDAH, 14 January — The Saudi Telecom Company in Riyadh has received 8,000 complaints from subscribers about disruption of service in the past few days in the wake of heavy rains in the city, Al-Riyadh newspaper reported yesterday.
The paper quoted Yusuf Al-Khowaiter, director general of STC in Riyadh, as saying that more than 90 percent of the complaints were attended to by the company’s technicians within 24 hours of receiving the complaints and necessary repairs were carried out.
The company gets an average of 14,000 complaints from subscribers in the city each month.
