JEDDAH, 14 January — A Jeddah organization is planning to establish a new pilgrim city and a 300-bed hospital near the King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah in the service of pilgrims arriving by plane. Hasan Al-Safi, chairman of Ain Al-Azizia, told Arab News that his organization was coordinating with relevant government departments to identify locations to establish the two projects. He also disclosed plans of constructing four new buildings south of the existing pilgrim city for pilgrims arriving by sea at a cost of SR35 million. "We have also decided to establish a new residential city with 12 buildings, consisting of 207 flats, a mosque and a polyclinic," Al-Safi added.
