RIYADH, 30 January — Suleiman Al-Qadi, executive president of the Saudi Electricity Company, has highlighted his company’s efforts to improve performance of its employees. “We want to instill a sense of quality culture in our employees,” he added.
Speaking to reporters after opening a workshop on comprehensive quality organized by the company’s branch in the Central Province, Al-Qadi said SEC was adopting modern technology to provide various services to its clients.
He underscored the company’s efforts over the years to achieve comprehensive quality saying that hundreds of its employees have taken part in its performance enhancement workshops during the last seven years.
The workshop started yesterday with a keynote speech by Maj. Gen. Dhahi Khalfan Tameem, commander of Dubai police, who explained his organization’s experience in improving performance and providing better services to the public.
He said the Dubai police had made facilities for the payment traffic of fines via telephone.
Saud Al-Shammary, director of strategic development at SEC’s Eastern Province branch, Dr. Tarek Suleimani, deputy director general of Advanced Electronics Company, Muhammad Alam of SEC’s branch in the Western Province, and Dr. Muhammad Al-Dardery of King Abdul Aziz University, presented papers on related topics.
Al-Qadi presented the teams from Dammam, Riyadh and Jeddah with awards in recognition of their accomplishments.
