DAMMAM, 1 February — Al-Majd International School in Dammam held its annual day function on Friday and awarded certificates to meritorious students. The school also gave away prizes to students who excelled in sports.
School Principal Parveen Ali congratulated the students who received certificates and said they had set examples for other students to emulate. She, however, said that the award should not made the students complacent. She said they should continue to strive for excellence. The prize distribution function was followed by a cultural program in which students presented several skits and sang national songs. (S.H.)
