MAKKAH, 6 February — Makkah Governor Prince Abdul Majeed yesterday launched the website of King Fahd Haj Research Institute, an affiliate of Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah. The website gives an idea about the institute’s activities and provide useful information about Makkah and Madinah.
Earlier, opening a scientific meet organized by the institute, Prince Abdul Majeed urged officials of private and public Haj-related agencies to extend maximum care to the pilgrims. The meeting will discuss 25 research papers related to various topics. Dr. Muhammad Al-Bashir will present a paper on the impact of media coverage of Haj on non-Muslims.
