JEDDAH, 8 February — Two airliners carrying 251 Iraqi pilgrims, most of them elderly, landed at King Abdul Aziz International Airport here yesterday. The flights bring to four the number of journeys arranged by the Iraqi national carrier in two days for the transport of 505 old people who could not travel by land to perform the Haj rituals in Makkah. More Iraqi airliners were scheduled to head to Saudi Arabia in the coming few days, carrying 500 more elderly pilgrims, bringing to about 1,000 the total number of Iraqis due to travel by air.
