JEDDAH, 10 February — Sixteen researchers from various Islamic countries will present papers on different topics at a major seminar in Makkah to be organized by the Haj Ministry on Feb. 17. Haj Minister Iyad Madani will open the seminar, which will be held at the conference hall of the Tawafa Organization for South Asian Pilgrims in Rusaifa.
Dr. Abubakar Baqader, the supervisor of the seminar, said this year’s research papers would focus on cultural and geographical aspects of the Haj. Participants include Ahmad Fadl Uglu of Turkey, Sara Takahashi of Japan, Dr. Sayyed Qadi Askar from Iran and Dr. Muhammad Al-Baqai from Syria. (SPA)
