RIYADH, 12 February — The Shoura Council yesterday gave a reception to its new President Dr. Saleh ibn Abdullah Humaid, who was appointed recently following the death of Muhammad ibn Jubair. Humaid commended the efforts made by Jubair when he was president of the Shoura. The new president sought the cooperation of all Shoura members to make the functioning of the consultative body more effective. (SPA)
