RIYADH, 13 February - The Department of Public Security has called upon Saudis and expatriates intending to perform Haj this year to use legal transport, such as SAPTCO buses and taxis, for travel to Makkah and between the holy sites. In a statement issued yesterday, the department said those who use their private vehicles are allowed to transport only their kith and kin. The driver should be either the owner of the vehicle, under the owner's sponsorship, or carrying a legal authorization letter.
