RIYADH, 16 February — Crown Prince Abdullah, deputy premier and commander of the National Guard, held talks here last night with Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri on the Middle East peace and other major global issues. “The two leaders discussed the situation in Palestine and other occupied Arab territories and stressed the need for finding a just solution to the Palestinian issue,” the Saudi Press Agency said. Prince Abdullah and Hariri also reviewed the two countries’ efforts to reinforce world peace and stability, the agency added. The talks also focused on the Arab summit, slated for March 27-28 in Beirut. Hariri will fly to Paris today and hold talks with French President Jacques Chirac the following day.
