JEDDAH, 21 February — Interior Minister Prince Naif stated yesterday that the Kingdom was going ahead with its move to establish two human rights commissions. Speaking to Al-Jazirah newspaper, he said the Kingdom will deal with Singapore in the same way if it insists that Saudis visiting the Southeast Asian country should have a Singaporean sponsor. “I think no other country will do the same, because it will negatively affect their interests,” he told the Arabic daily.
