JEDDAH, 26 February — Saudi Arabian Airlines has transported a record 390,000 pilgrims from 57 international and 25 domestic destinations during the Haj season this year, according to Dr. Khaled ibn Bakr, director of the airline. “This is an all-time record,” the Saudia chief said, adding that the airline had also achieved 90 percent on time performance and 100 percent safety during the Haj operation. The airline has begun the second phase of the operation for the return of the pilgrims. (SPA)
