JEDDAH, 3 March — Soccer fans in the Kingdom will be able to watch the World Cup Finals in Japan and Korea on the national television, according to Information Minister Dr. Fouad Al-Farsy. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, he said Saudi businessman Saleh Kamel has assured him that his media company would allow Saudi Television to transmit the soccer matches free of charge. The free transmission will include the inaugural and closing ceremonies as well as the matches involving the Saudi team. (SPA)
