JEDDAH, 4 March 2002 — More than 55 million people around the world had followed the discussions at the last Jeddah Economic Forum, according to Amr Al-Dabbagh, chairman of the Jeddah Marketing Council, organizers of the forum. Addressing a press conference here yesterday, Dabbagh announced that the next forum will be held on Jan. 18-20, 2003. He said the council has already sent invitations to 70 international, regional and national personalities and experts to take part in next year’s event. He also disclosed a plan by the forum to set up a prize for outstanding contributions to the economic progress of the country and the region. The Jeddah Marketing Council has reached an agreement with Harvard Business School to develop the forum’s future activities, Dabbagh said.
