DAMMAM, 6 March — A Saudi youth shot dead his bride-to-be on their wedding night after she refused to marry him at the last moment, Okaz reported yesterday. “The bride ran away from the beauty parlor while her friends were preparing her for the wedding. She went to her family and told them that she does not like the groom,” the paper said. Soon after hearing the news, the disgruntled youth went to her house and gunned her down.
