JEDDAH, 7 March — Police have arrested a 50-year-old Saudi man, who shot dead a teenager in Alkharj, near Riyadh, on Monday, Okaz newspaper reported yesterday. The paper said the man tried to escape after spraying bullets in the direction of the 15-year-old youth. Two of his friends escaped death by running away from the scene. Col. Atallah Al-Derbas, Alkharj police director, said the killer has been a psychiatric patient for more than 20 years.
