MAKKAH, 17 March — Most of the injured from last week’s school fire here have now been discharged from hospital. Two girls, still in a serious condition, are being treated in King Khaled National Guard Hospital in Jeddah.

Sources at Al-Nour Hospital in Makkah confirmed to Arab News yesterday that all patients who were being treated there have been discharged.

Dr. Khaled Obaid, director general of the hospital, said that his hospital treated 14 until last Wednesday afternoon. King Abdul Aziz Hospital in Makkah, where 28 casualties from the school were transferred, has also discharged all the students.
