RIYADH, 18 March — More than 450 cleaning workers at the Military Hospital in Riyadh stopped work to protest a two-month delay in payment of salaries by the contracting company which employed them, Al-Riyadh Arabic daily reported yesterday. The workers, however, resumed work when company officials quickly intervened to tackle the situation and agreed to pay one month’s salary immediately.
