JEDDAH, 26 March — A 14-year-old Saudi youth in Qanuna in the Southern Region drowned on Friday while his family was picnicking in the valley, Al-Watan reported. The teenager went into a deep pond in the valley, unnoticed by the family, and then could not get out of it. By the time the family saw that he was drowning, it was too late.
