RIYADH, 27 March — The Shoura Council yesterday stressed the need to have strategic wheat reserves for six months to meet any emergency that might arise. A regular meeting of the council also advised the government to consider the social aspects, while privatizing the General Organization for Grain Silos and Flour Mills. Dr. Hamoud Al-Badr, secretary-general of the Shoura, said the meeting took the decisions after discussing a report on the organization. (SPA)
