RIYADH, 28 March — The Passport Department said yesterday that it will update shortly records of expatriate workers in its computer system as part of a plan to launch iqama cards (resident permits) with bar-codes. The department urged companies and individuals employing expatriates to make sure that the information provided about their staff is correct. “Any change of entries in the new iqama cards will be made after payment of a fee,” the department said.
