Mr. Bush, allow me to start with the first five words of your national anthem.
Can you “see” the brutality? The tyranny? The misery? The lies? The sheer destruction of the Palestinians.... What kind of a world are you drawing? Lots of questions.... but where are the answers? America, the land of the free and the home of the brave freed itself from tyranny by starting a freedom movement that brought its liberation. Well every occupation should end, must end, will end. Nobody accepts elastic words that lead to nowhere.
Words such as violence and terror.... or settlers and self-defense or the screamer national interests. What is happening in the land of Palestine is a war of liberation. The Palestinians will be free..... It’s only a matter of time.... a very short time. No decent human being can accept what is happening to the Palestinians, it is as simple as that. This war of liberation has created new heroes on a daily basis and will continue to do so.
Sharon will go, and so will Arafat for that matter, but the Palestinians are here to stay. This is a fact that must be understood. I will not use this forum to remind you what needs to be done..... you know it very well. This security at the bloodiest price, which is what Sharon is doing and you are blessing, is a very odd notion of peace.
Mr. Bush you are a God-fearing Christian who reads his Bible.... May I invite you to dig deep tonight in its pages, flip through those addressing tyranny and injustice, and draw your own conclusions.... and may I suggest you start with the Book of Exodus?
Until America realizes it has a duty and responsibility to carry its global role based on a moral and just principle, this world will never be at peace and Palestine will be the ultimate and final test.
