JEDDAH, 17 April — Interior Minister Prince Naif has ordered Lt. Gen. Talal Al-Angawi, director general of the Border Guard, to give rewards worth SR2 million to a number of officers and soldiers of the Border Guard in recognition of their role in arresting smugglers and foiling clandestine operations across the country’s borders. Several Saudi and expatriate informers will also be rewarded.
