RIYADH, 18 April — Authorities have confiscated a large quantity of Israeli-made mobile phones shipped into the Kingdom via Poland. The phones and accessories had been recently imported by a local trading company, a Commerce Ministry source told Asharq Al-Awsat. The customs department seized the goods and a committee has been set up to prepare for legal action against the company, the source said. The ministry is also investigating reports that a quantity of Israeli-made headscarves were being falsely marketed in the Kingdom as headdresses made in Jordan.
