RIYADH, 19 April — A convoy of 100 trucks carrying 2,500 tons of relief materials, including food, medicines and medical equipment, has left by road here for Palestine on Wednesday, said Mubarak Bakr, executive director of the Saudi Committee to Support Al-Quds Intifada. Trucks from Jeddah, Eastern Province, and Madinah will meet at Tabuk on April 21. Medical, media and management teams in addition to the committee members are also accompanying the convoy that will pass through Jordan. It will stop at Amman for a few days to coordinate with the international relief organizations and the Jordanian Red Crescent before entering Palestine.
