CHINGWIYANGWAN, China, 19 April — Saudi Arabia has joined the Federation of Asian Parliaments and its other affiliated bodies and committees. The protocol of joining was signed yesterday by Saleh ibn Homaid, chairman of the Shoura Council, at the third international conference of the federation currently being held here. In a speech on the occasion, Ibn Homaid explained Islam’s tolerance and the Kingdom’s efforts to solve the Palestinian issue. The Shoura chairman and his accompanying delegation arrived here yesterday.
