JEDDAH, 20 April — A legal dispute between two companies in Jeddah has delayed the payment of salaries of about 100 expatriate workers for six months. The workers have jointly lodged a complaint against their company at the labor office for non-payment of salary and failure to process their iqamas. The problem started after the company purchased two recreation centers on the Corniche for SR12 million. As per the deal, the company had to take the sponsorship of the workers of the two centers and pay their outstanding salaries and benefits worth SR300,000.
