RIYADH, 20 April — Deputy Minister of Information Prince Turki ibn Sultan will inaugurate at the King Abdul Aziz Historical Center today a four-day Arab film festival on the importance of environmental conservation and wildlife preservation. The film festival, which will feature 22 documentaries from 13 Arab countries, including the Kingdom, is being jointly organized by the National Commission for Wildlife Conservation and Development and the Ministry of Information, Dr. Abdul Aziz Abuzinada, secretary-general of NCWCD, told Arab News. The sponsors of the event are the Islamic Development Bank, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Saudi Aramco and the Saudi Hollandi Bank. Among the countries taking part in the film festival are the GCC states, Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Morocco, Yemen, Algeria and Jordan. The festival will begin at 8:30 p.m.
