JEDDAH, 26 April — A taxi driver in Jeddah returned legal documents worth SR34 million to its owner who left them behind in his cab. Al-Madinah newspaper said the taxi driver discovered that an envelope his passenger had forgotten in his car when he got off in the Rehab district contained important documents. He immediately turned back looking out for the passenger and drove around the area inquiring about him, but his efforts were in vain. Finally he left the envelope with the imam of the mosque in the neighborhood. The owner came forward to claim the papers when the imam announced after a prayer congregation that the taxi driver had left them with him.
