RIYADH, 26 April — Dr. Abdullah Al-Moaily, director general of education in Riyadh Region, has issued directives to identify students who smoke so that the school counsel can bring them under a corrective program. The program involves enlightenment, counseling and indirectly drawing students’ attention to the hazards of smoking to individuals as well as to society. Smoking is banned in Saudi schools and government offices.
