RIYADH, 30 April — A multi-million riyal factory for manufacturing jewelry will be set up in Riyadh later this year. Jamil Matar, general manager of Al-Fardan Jewelry, said that the jewelry, studded with diamonds or precious stones, will incorporate Swiss and Italian designs. The factory will employ Saudi manpower. The Kingdom accounts for 75 percent of the total GCC market for jewelry.
