JEDDAH, 1 May — Waleed Jameel Muhammad Ali Qattan, who has vast experience in the areas of advertising, public relations, marketing and distribution, has been appointed the new director general of the Okaz Organization for Press and Publication.
Qattan, a member of the National Advertising Committee and a member of the board of GCC Advertising Association, was picked for the prestigious job by the company’s general assembly.
Born in Jeddah in 1955, Qattan has a bachelor degree in economics and political science from the University of Cairo. Before joining the Okaz organization in 1980, he was engaged in independent business activities.
