JEDDAH, 7 May — Makkah Governor Prince Abdul Majeed yesterday launched a relief convoy comprising 69 trucks full of foodstuffs, medicine and cars as well as toys and detergents donated by Saudi women in Jeddah for the Palestinians.

Speaking to reporters after launching ceremony, the governor said the relief convoy was part of the continuing Saudi support for the Palestinians languishing under Israeli aggression. “We provide the Palestinians with moral and material support, not by holding demonstrations and raising slogans,” he added.
