In the Israeli Settlement called OFRA, the IDF have detained about 1000 Palestinian prisoners. During the West Bank incursions thousands of arrests were made. Many of these men are still imprisoned more than a month later. They are not in real prisons, they are being held in tents in ISRAELI SETTLEMENTS. These makeshift prisons need to be scrutinized. Yesterday I heard from a lawyer who visited prisoners there and he talked about the conditions these men are enduring.

1. Food is limited

2. Many men have been there for more than 40 days and they still wear the same clothes the were arrested in

3. They are held in large tents and there so many men and so little room there is not enough room for every man to lay down

4. They are forced to stand and be counted several times a night so sleep is difficult

5. They have been held for long periods with their hands tied behind their backs

6. They are often no charges, yet they are still imprisoned

7. They do not have easy access to the bathroom

8. The IDF claim the situation is temporary so they don't have to answer to anyone about the conditions there

Please investigate OFRA SETTLEMENT prison. I think the NGO lawsociety.org is aware of this too....
