JEDDAH, 29 May — Municipal authorities in Taif closed six shops in the city and fined their owners for failure to abide by health regulations. Officials seized large quantities of foodstuffs past their expiry date from the shops, according to Abdul Rahman Al-Zahrani director general of markets at the municipality.
