MAKKAH, 29 May — A rare set of Siamese twins were born to a 25-year-old Saudi woman at the Maternity and Children’s Hospital here yesterday. Dr. Hussein Ghannam, director of the hospital, said one of the babies had attained full growth and weighed 2.7 kilograms, but the other stuck in its back was not grown fully. An operation to separate the two babies will be conducted at Al-Noor Hospital in Makkah in a few days, the doctor added. (SPA)
