KUWAIT-BASED Rekaz Systems has signed an agreement with Ta’jeer Company, a Dallah Al-Baraka-backed financing institution, to implement an Internet-based Rekaz Islamic Suite solution and Oracle Financials. The implementation will automate Ta’jeer’s operations so that all of its internal processes will be fully-integrated, seamlessly-linked, and totally accessible over the Internet. Under the terms of the agreement, Rekaz Systems will provide Ta’jeer with an IT solution to meet the needs of both its "back office" (accounting and financials) and its "front office" (leasing, installment, and workflow).
"Ta’jeer’s Shariah-compliant financing solutions are growing in popularity among consumers in the Kingdom; therefore, we are required to increase our number of branch outlets to properly serve this growing customer base," commented Dr. Saleh Malaikah, chairman, Ta’jeer.
"The web-based Rekaz Islamic Suite solution from Rekaz Systems will empower our expansion by allowing our employees located across the Kingdom to access mission-critical data at Internet speeds. This solution meets our long-term objectives: to be a paperless organization, as well as provide high-value management information reporting."
