RIYADH, 1 July — The Shoura Council yesterday discussed the copyrights bill on the basis of a report submitted by the council’s committee for cultural and information affairs. The bill deals with the relations between authors, publishers, distributors, producers and radio and television studios, etc. The discussions also included various aspects of rights, duties, commitments and exemptions besides punishments for violations of copyright regulations, Shoura Council’s Secretary General Hammoud Al-Badr said in a statement.
