DR. Simon Moores, adviser to the UK’s e-envoy, has announced the formation of an information service to assist those involved with eGovernment and ICT in the GCC. According to Moores, the service aims to help with policy formulation, strategy development, planning, program management, procurement and implementation. The service will also deliver up-to-date information on current and future technology issues; solutions coming to market; leading and innovative suppliers; case studies and best practice material; market research; and technical research. The initiative is being undertaken by eGov monitor, a specialist eGovernment knowledge provider in the UK, with advice from Moores. The information service will be provided free of charge.
