GAZA, 8 July — As many as 6,000 Palestinian families have benefited from a relief program organized by the Jeddah-based International Islamic Relief Organization, according to Ahmad Al-Kurd, chairman of Al-Salah Islamic Society in Gaza. “The project included purchase of basic foodstuff s and their distribution among the needy families,” he told the Saudi Press Agency. He said 3,000 families each Gaza and West Bank received the foodstuffs. (SPA)
