LONDON, 16 July — US President George W. Bush has sent a secret message to President Mohammad Khatami informing him of terrorist training camps operating in Iran without his knowledge, Asharq Al-Awsat reported yesterday quoting an informed source close to the Iranian presidency. Bush commended Khatami’s efforts to bring about reforms. However, he said there was an un-elected minority that tries to control the affairs of the Iranian people and obstruct the reform process. Bush said he was sure that Khatami would be unaware of the existence of terrorist training camps in Mazindaran.
