Sharon as well as Netanyahu belong to the Likud party, and based on the operatives of the 1996 Likud party platform, Sharon and the Likud are following those policies to the letter, policies which continue to be part of the Zionist revolution.

Continued conflict with the Palestinians is necessary for the Zionist belief system to achieve the (impossible) dream of the Greater Israel, which is an expanded Jews- only state, which includes the West Bank and Gaza Strip as well. Sharon, Netanyahu, the Likud and Labor parties have always been geared toward driving the Palestinians out of the West Bank and Gaza to achieve their collective goal.

The Zionist made hundreds of thousands of Palestinians flee by means of its terror gangs between 1920 and up to 1948 (the Irgun, Haganah, and Stern gangs) when they wrecked havoc upon both British and Palestinians, using all forms of extremely brutal terrorism tactics (brought from Russia, Germany, and Europe), including several forms of bombing techniques never known to the Middle East until the arrival of the Zionists.

Mass flight of Palestinians again took place starting in 1948 when Israel's fledgling military, and paramilitary again went on the rampage of dispossession, murder, and terror. The goal was to completely clear the lands of the indigenous populations. Obviously this did not completely occur.

As a matter of note, the suicide bombings of the Palestinian militants reach nowhere near the shear demonic brutality the Zionist and their terrorist gangs Irgun, Haganah, and Stern) inflicted upon millions of Palestinians, forcing hundreds of thousands to flee from their homes, and land. These terror gangs today include settlers.

These terror gangs were eventually replaced by military, and paramilitary units which also continued the use of terror, dispossession, and murder to clear the lands of the indigenous populations of Palestinians. The tactic of forcing the Palestinians to flee are still in operation. The terror tactics are still in operation as well. Terror gangs aren't used anymore now that Israel has its IDF, IAF, Shin Bet, and violent settlers.

Today we see thousands of Palestinians trying to flee. Simultaneously, transfer of population, deportation and slow genocide of the Palestinians are also going on.

The goals of the Zionist Revolution (1996 Likud Party platform) have not changed, but have escalated, and taken on a different face.

Ariel Sharon happens to be a much more violent person than Netanyahu or any of the other leaders of Israel (except those who were leaders or members of th Irgun, or Haganah, or Stern gangs) and both the Likud and Labor have continued to use Sharon for the more dirtier work.

The Zionist policy of driving the Palestinians out requires conflict. The Greater Israel simply cannot be achieved without the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

If the violence is to stop, and if peace and security for both peoples are to come, then the Zionist platform of the Likud and Labor parties must be addressed by the UN, EU, Arab nations, and the United States and Britain, and the peace loving people of Israel as well. The Likud (the most extreme) party has never been good for Israel or the region, and never will be.

A brief mention of the Labor Party: The party generally works in conjunction with the Likud, their belief systems are similar, although a tad more subtle with respect to conquering the lands to realize the dream of the Greater Israel.
