RIYADH, 5 August — A number of foreign embassies have been accused of delaying and rejecting visas for Saudi preachers intending to visit European, African and Asian countries during summer holidays, Asharq Al-Awsat reported. Sources close to the Saudi dawa delegations expressed anguish over the dilatory tactics of foreign embassies. According to the paper, the Ugandan Embassy and some other African embassies had said the preachers must undergo an interview with the ambassador to establish the purpose of their visits.
