JEDDAH, 7 August — Prince Abdullah, the regent, received here yesterday a book on the late King Khaled.
The book’s preface was written by Prince Sultan, second deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation.
The book, titled Khaled ibn Abdul Aziz, Biography of a King and Renaissance of a Kingdom, documents the life and achievements of the late king and is the first on this subject.
The book was handed to Prince Abdullah by Prince Faisal ibn Khaled during an audience here. The book’s author, Ahmad ibn Zaid Al-Daajani also attended the audience.
Prince Abdullah commended the efforts of the author and underscored King Khlaed’s achievements.
The audience was attended by Princes Abdul Aziz ibn Abdullah and Bandar ibn Salman, advisors at Prince Abdullah’s Court.
Prince Abdullah also received princes, ministers, senior officials and citizens who came to greet him. (SPA)
