ABU DHABI, 21 August - Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Khalifa ibn Zayed Al Nahyan yesterday attended the graduation ceremony of the 11th batch of the Command and Staff College.
In a statement to WAM, Sheikh Khalifa said that current developments in regional and international arenas have once again confirmed the correctness of vision of the UAE, under the leadership of President Sheikh Zayed ibn Sultan Al Nahyan and his brothers, Supreme Council members and rulers of the Emirates.
"Right from the beginning, Sheikh Zayed, Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, outlined an integrated and multifaceted strategy to build our defense capabilities. "This strategy was comprehensive, flexible, vibrant and capable of dealing with all circumstances and developments," said Sheikh Khalifa.
He said that the UAE Armed Forces had been able to make significant achievements over the last few years in terms of modern armament, personnel training, human resources development, planning and keeping abreast of the latest advancement.
Sheikh Khalifa later presented certificates and awards to successful graduates. (WAM)
