COOPERHEAT, a part of the $2.6 billion Stork Group and a leading specialist technology service company, has implemented Sage Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software across its Saudi Arabia and UAE operations. The new software is aimed at helping Cooperheat gain better control of its operations and improve efficiency in the region. Algosaibi Information Systems, a Sage Enterprise Partner, implemented the solution, which is run on a single server and accessed via the Internet. Ken Baglee, location manager, Cooperheat, said, “We chose Sage because it best suited our functional requirements and offered us an upgrade path as we grow. We are essentially a service-based company offering onsite services to the petrochemical, power generation, oil refinery and water desalination sectors. Our next step is to implement Sage Project Accounting to manage ongoing projects at several customer sites. We felt comfortable with the level of expertise demonstrated by Algosaibi Information Systems. The project was completed on time and to our satisfaction.”
